A Sporty Day in Dhaka

in my baseball shirt to support Dad
We’re going to evening church today because this morning was full of fun and games, at least for Mom and Dad.

Mom got to run a 5k race in Baridhara.  It’s the first one she’s run since the Turkey Trot last year with me in her belly and Stephanie and Dad running, too.  It took her 27 minutes, but she wants to make sure you remember that, according to weather.com it was 90 degrees Fahrenheit and felt like 104, and she was wearing long sweatpants.  She was thinking about running the 10k version of the race, but Dad had a softball game to get to, and she didn’t want to make him late. So, Dad and I cheered while she ran, and then Mom and I cheered while Dad’s team, the Owls, beat Japan.

Look how I'm sitting up to congratulate Dad on his game!
