...had a cup of hot tea when he arrived, even though it was already 85 degrees Fahrenheit outside. He says that's what you do when you work with so many British people.
...counted how many pull-ups his students could do, as well as measured how far they could stretch when sitting on the floor. One girl stretched nine inches past her own feet!
...planned the water polo tournament his students from fifth grade through tenth grade will have on Tuesday at an international club by the school.
...ate chicken curry for lunch.
...taught fifth graders about why Viking ships were so good for invading other lands, and then built ships with his students.
...coordinated busses for the swim meet his students would have that evening. Good thing the office manager was back at school.
...taught his swimmers how to dive into a pool right before the meet, because it was the first time some of them had been at a pool deep enough for diving. The one with snorkel goggles still didn't get it.
...and had two students win their events at the meet.
