Having finally arrived in America for Dad's seven week summer break, I hit the ground running by helping Mishi Angie get ready for her wedding. It was really fun to see her so organized and excited for her big day. Other than sharpening pencils for the creative crossword on the back of the wedding program, there weren't very many jobs left by the time we got there, so Mom, Dad and I mostly got in on all the fun of being with family and preparing for a wedding.
We got to do a lot of swimming as cousins and family arrived. Mom got her nails done and spent a whole day with all of the girls in the wedding. Dad, Seth and Grandpa got to golf. Thanks for including us in all of that fun, Mishi!
Then, of course, was the wedding itself. It was held in this great big red barn and almost two hundred people came to celebrate God bringing Seth and Angie together. Mom cried a lot, but I just reveled in the chance to dance with so many beautiful second cousins. Most of them ignored me, but I was undeterred.
I hope my bride in twenty-five years or so looks as good as Mishi Angie did on June 18th of this year!
